This is a three-part outline of how Harshman Travel saved our clients lots of money during our recent cruise to Alaska.

We booked 12 staterooms aboard the brand-new Norwegian Bliss cruising roundtrip from Seattle through the Alaska Inside Package.  Each of our clients thoroughly enjoyed this fabulous cruise.

Harshman Travel works with our favorite cruise lines and routinely contracts several staterooms long before the actual embarkation dates.  In the case of our Alaska cruise, we contracted for our staterooms more than a year in advance. Because of our early contracting, we can “lock in” extremely attractive rates as well as awesome amenity packages.  We begin to advertise and market our available space as soon as we have executed the contract. This approach allows our clients to reserve their stateroom with a small deposit. If it assists them with their financial situation, they are also able to make payments along the way.  

Whenever we research a cruise, we always include the cruise rate, port charges, taxes and gratuities in our quoted price.  This prevents our clients from being blindsided at the end of the cruise with unexpected charges.  Our clients enjoy their cruise knowing that everything has been taken care of well in advance.

Benefits of Locking In Rates

With our latest cruise, stateroom prices continued to rise from the time we originally contracted until the actual cruise date. By “locking in” early booking rates, our clients are pretty much guaranteed that they will be saving money. When we approached our sailing date, we checked to see the current rates for the stateroom categories in our inventory.  Our contracted rates were approximately $400 per person less than the current rates being advertised!!
