THIS WILL BE THE I8TH TEL AVIV GAY PRIDE WEEK AND PARADE!!
This year, the Annual Gay Pride Week will be held in Tel Aviv from June 7 through June 14. The main event, as always, will be the Gay Pride Parade, scheduled for Friday, June 12. The Tel Aviv Pride Parade was originally known as the “Tel Aviv Love Parade” and started in 1997.
The event has grown to well over 100,000 participants, many from around the world. The parade usually begins at around 10:00 am and culminates with a major beach party on the seafront. The parade has become less political over the years and has developed a very positive reputation for inclusiveness, along with Tel Aviv’s world-class status as an LGBT-friendly destination and a top party city.
With an amazing beach, great weather, super good food and other famous nearby attractions like Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, the Tel Aviv Gay Pride Week is definitely a very popular vacation destination.
Some of the most memorable attractions include: a magnificent gay beach, never-ending 24-hour nightlife, fantastic shopping, great culinary options, Jerusalem & the Dead Sea (less than 2 hours away) and NO gay area because the entire city is gay!! There are more than 50 LGBT-friendly planned events during the week and the main beauty of the entire week is that it brings together all sorts of folks who only have one thing on their mind and that is to have fun!!
