Western Caribbean Cruise

On November 27 – December 4, 2016, we sailed away to the Western Caribbean aboard Norwegian’s GETAWAY.  Our travels took us to the ports of Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras – Belize City, Belize – Costa Maya, Mexico – Cozumel, Mexico.  

We not only enjoyed all of the ports but also exploring NCL’s new island port of Harvest Caye, Belize.  We were only the 2nd ship to visit the port!   They did a beautiful job on the island creating a vacation space that is sure to please all family members.  We definitely want to go back in a year to see how the vegetation has grown in more and also the additional exhibits that weren’t ready yet.  Next time we want to enjoy more of the amenities like kayaking and the zip line.

The ports of call on this trip were exceptionally fun and we spent more time exploring new countries than we did on the ship.  We still took advantage of the jacuzzi, specialty dining and the many theater type shows while on board.  We LOVED the Illusionarium Dinner Show!
