Eastern Caribbean Cruise

We’ve been looking forward to this special Valentines cruise for quite some time. Two of our favorite Caribbean ports were included in this itinerary.

As we set sail from the Port of Miami aboard the Norwegian Encore, our first stop was the buffet! What better way to start a vacation than to partake is excess sugar and calories! Once we got the all clear that the staterooms were ready, it was time to unpack and get settled in for a week of R & R.

During our Eastern Caribbean cruise we had three ports of call: San Juan, Puerto Rico, Tortola and St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. We always go ashore and find great things to do. I usually research the area around each port ahead of time and have sites all picked out before we ever leave home. Occasionally, we will go on an organized excursion through the cruise line but we like to go investigate some of the non-traditional points of interest.
